I am a postdoctoral associate at the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Science. I work in the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of cognitive science, and ethics.
I received my Ph.D. in philosophy in 2022 from The Ohio State University under the supervision of Declan Smithies. Before this, I got an MA from Virginia Tech and a BA from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. I grew up in Charlotte, NC.
When not doing philosophy, I enjoy running, watching sports, taking photos, and spending time with my wife Rachel and son Miller. I am a proud and long-suffering fan of the Charlotte Hornets and Carolina Panthers.
Here is a post I recently wrote on aphantasia for The Junkyard, a scholarly blog about the imagination.
